Memorial Day, May 27, 2002
After a Winter and Spring with more than a usual batch of our crazy Minnesota weather, Memorial Day turned out to be a peach. Perhaps because of 9/11, perhaps because of the weather, the crowd  came earlier, was larger in size than past few years and stayed later. It was a time to remember those who fought for our freedom and a time to renew friendships and make new ones. The next few pages will give you an idea of Memorial Day in Burtrum, Minnesota.
